Emeraude Toubia

Emeraude is an Canadian actress best recognized for her role in the fantasy TV show Shadowhunters on Freeform and the Venevision Telenovelas Cosita linda and Voltea Pa' Te Enamores. Model and dancer by profession Toubia also has achieved great success in both of these fields. She hails from Montreal However, she was raised and attended school in Texas. Her love of performing has been with her since she was a child. When she was a young girl she began to learn diverse forms of dance. When she was 15, she was a contestant in beauty contests. In 1999, she made her first on-screen appearance in Televisa's children's program El Mundo de los Ninos. Toubia gained a lot of attention in 2008 as she appeared in two seasons of Univision beauty pageant program Nuestra Belleza Latina. In 2010, she was the receptionist for Telemundo telenovela Aurora. In 2015, she appeared in her first movie, the action-drama Tattooed Love.
