Jill AND Mary

Jillian Shennessy (born on November 25 on the 25th of November, 1968) is an Canadian artist, actress and vocalist who made an impact in American television. Her work has received praise for her stellar performance on the American TV show Law & Order in which she was Claire Kincaid as a prosecutor for three seasons and Crossing Jordan, wherein she played Jordan Cavanaugh the main character for six years. Hennessy has also demonstrated her talents as an actor in films like RoboCop 3 Most Wanted and the independent films Chutney Popcorn and The Acting Class and The Acting Class, in which she played co-directing and writing muscles. Hennessy's acting career began in 1988 when she along with her sister played twin callgirls in Dead Ringers. The actress sat for a few minutes on Broadway as part of Buddy The Buddy Holly Story. The Buddy Holly Story, before moving into science fiction in 1993 in the role of the character Dr. Marie Lazarus. Her big break was later in the year, when she joined the cast of the cult NBC crime show Law & Order as assistant district attorney Claire Kincaid.
